How does PRF work and what should I expect during my visit to PURE Medical Spa?

Consultation
You will first meet with a specially trained cosmetic injector who will assess your problem area(s) and determine whether Sculptra® is the right aesthetic solution for you. From there, your injector will create a personalized plan tailored to your needs.

Preparation
Prior to receiving Platelet Rich Fibrin (PRF) injections, patients should limit their intake of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), such as ibuprofen and aspirin. Patients should also discontinue any use of supplements or vitamins that may have a blood thinning effect prior to the injection. The injections involve drawing a small amount of the patient's own blood, which is then placed in a centrifuge to separate out the platelets and plasma.
