How does Laser Hair Removal work and what should I expect during my visit to PURE Medical Spa?

Consultation
We first meet with you for a one-on-one consultation. During this time, we will explain the laser hair removal process, assess the treatment area(s), and build your custom hair reduction plan.

Preparation
On the day of your appointment, we will cleanse the treatment area(s) to ensure the laser of your choice has a clean slate to work with. We will also provide protective eyewear for your safety.

Setting Customization
To begin, we select the laser hair removal setting that will best cater to your skin and hair tone. As a result, you receive a safe and personalized treatment so you gain the best outcomes possible.

Hair Reduction
Once the appropriate setting is chosen, we run the laser handpiece over the treatment area(s), focusing on places with the highest concentration of hair follicles. Throughout the process, you may experience a slight heating and/or snapping sensation. After, your skin may have mild redness and swelling; however, those side effects are temporary.
